What We Do
PrezentMe.com is a web-based company that utilizes the power of online video resumes to connect career seekers and employers. For career seekers, the no-cost video resumes help candidates distinguish themselves and showcase their style and personality, in a way that a paper resume never could. Career seekers can build their profiles by answering six video questions on PrezentMe.com. These questions are designed to draw out important information from parts of their resume and initial interview, placing them into video answers. Using their webcam, candidates can record their video answers in the comfort of their home. The video format gives employers a visual representation of the applicants’ character, motivation and enthusiasm. Additionally, candidates have the option to upload documents and PDFs, such as traditional resume, credentials and achievement certificates. Career seekers tag their profile with descriptive keywords and credentials that identify's who they are. Employers can then search with keywords and required credentials they feel match their company culture and open position.
Employers who wish to customize video questions, add their company logo and company colors, have the option of purchasing an employer BeSpoken portal. A BeSpoken portal is stored in the PrezentMe.com cloud, which saves an employer the hassle of maintaining servers, virus protection software, operating system updates and bandwidth costs. An employers' portal is completely private. Candidates that are inside the private portal are only viewable by that employer. Jim Hattar - President and CEO
Jim Hattar is Cofounder of PrezentMe.com, a Software as a Service company where your resume comes to life! Prior to PrezentMe.com Jim worked at Cisco Systems as a Network Architect and Systems Engineer, there Jim helped design solutions for cloud computing, applications delivery and video deployments at Fortune 500 companies and medium size business verticals. Prior to Cisco, Jim worked at Ford Motor Company, Hewlett-Packard and K-Mart Corporation in both design and architecture roles for video systems and next generation global networks. Outside of work Jim enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, wake boarding, and running with his dog Cooper with the fur.
Michael Bower - Cofounder
Michael Bower is Cofounder of PrezentMe.com, a SaaS company where your resume comes to life! Prior to PrezentMe.com Michael performed various roles at several technology companies including Kaspersky, Citrix and Cisco. He has worked with several startup ventures including Network Instruments and WildPackets. Evidence of Michael’s passion for life-long learning is his financial studies at Cornell, graduate and undergraduate work at Northwood University and copious IT studies. When not working, Michael is an experimental chef, avid cyclist and oarsmen with a desire to be outside as much as possible. God, family and friends are the most important aspects of his life.
Sarah Mangiapane - Communication Director
Sarah Mangiapane is Communication Director of PrezentMe.com. As a Michigan State Alumni with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sarah started her professional career as an IT Recruiting Consultant for a IT staffing firm in Detroit, MI. Her recruiting background in human resources, IT and content marketing brings a fresh perspective to PrezentMe. She is always continuing to learn new skills and grow her professional network. Sarah finds great gratification in assisting others, whether it's helping individuals find employment, build relationships or distributing newsletters door to door with Lunch with a Purpose. She focuses on successful networking, marketing and social media for to the organization. In her free time, she stays an active member of the Lansing and National Jaycees Organization, where she enjoys helping her community and learning new event planning and networking skills. Sarah also enjoys spending her free time reading for her book club, taking ballroom dancing lessons and spending time with friends and family.
Adam McKay - Marketing Director
Adam McKay is the Marketing Director of PrezentMe.com. As a Michigan State graduate, Adam has always been fascinated in what engages people and how to tap into that, so naturally marketing and advertising was his path. Adam believes that “Any way you can engage people with a strong message and idea, an idea of change and improvement, is always something you should strive to be a part of. So, when PrezentMe.com and all it's simple yet revolutionary ways of changing the hiring industry came calling I had to pick up”. Social media, gorilla marketing, and "PrezentMe resident sports fan" may be some of the ways to describe Adam’s role in the company.
Fatima Tsouli - Public Relations Director
Fatima Tsouli is the Public Relations Director of PrezentMe.com. Prior to PrezentMe.com Fatima managed and ran Rochester Internal Medicine and Washington Urgent Care where she oversaw a total of thirty employees. Fatima was born and raised in South France and graduated with her bachelors of biology from globally acclaimed University of Montpellier. She moved to the U.S. in 2003 where she started her own company, that she grew to 25 employees over a three year period. With the ability to speak five languages fluently and having lived all around the world Fatima has developed a love for working with others, successful networking and strong public speaking skills. A business entrepreneurship and employee management background has helped her to understand the dynamics of job placement. On her free time Fatima enjoys traveling, writing poetry, playing sports and she is currently writing a book.
Steve Anders - Lead Developer
Steve Anders is the Lead Developer at PrezentMe. He Oversees the website by maintaining content and improving functionality. Steve is currently working towards his B.A. in Digital and Technical Professional Writing at Michigan State University. Before PrezentMe Steve worked as a freelance web developer. Outside of work he enjoys reading, biking, running, and building computers.
Charlie Ainsworth - Marketing Intern
Charlie Ainsworth is a Junior at Michigan State University and is our Marketing Intern. In Charlie's words he is "extremely passionate about marketing because I believe it has a large impact on the world around us. Marketing and Advertising not only mirror society and current trends, they can create trends that will affect society". Charlie has developed many of our forward moving marketing plans and has done a great job in his time at PrezentMe.com. When not being a marketing whiz Charlie stays active by playing basketball and keeping up with local athletic teams.
Jessica Foxen - Marketing Intern
Jessica Foxen is a marketing intern at with PrezentMe.com and currently a sophomore attneding Michigan State University, double majoring in advertising and communication. Jessica is an undergraduate research assistant in the communication department helping to conduct new studies while also working as an undergraduate learning assistant for a consumer behavior course. As a member of the Tower Guard organization at MSU, she helps fellow students at the Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities. Her wealth of experience and drive makes Jessica a valued member of the PrezentMe.com staff, assisting in research, marketing, and ideas. Outside of school and work Jessica regularly plays soccer, attend sporting events and concerts, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
Jacqueline Cox - Communications Intern
Jacqueline Cox is a Marketing Intern at PrezentMe.com. She is currently working towards a degree in Marketing at Michigan State University with a specialization in design. The mix of professional and creative aspects in her courses is something Jacqueline enjoys. Her interest, understanding, and enthusiasm toward brand development, public relations, and the role social media plays in those make her a valuable asset to the PrezentMe.com team. When not enhancing her marketing skills, Jacqueline is very involved in multiple student organizations such as Greek Life and spends as much time as she can with friends and family.

Local Michigan natives Jim Hattar and Michael Bower, who have worked as technology engineers and systems architects, for tech giants HP, Citrix and Cisco Systems, founded PrezentMe.com in August 2012. The founders of the company recognized a common problem employers faced, in which open positions were being filled ineffectively. They wanted to give Career Seekers a better platform then a traditional paper resume to stand out in the current hiring process. They saw video resume as the future. With the help of public relations expert Fatima Tsouli, creative team Sarah Mangiapane and Adam McKay, together they have advanced and perfected job placement. The company currently has nine employees and his growing. Steve Anders has used his experience in high-tech web site development to launch PrezentMe.com.
The PrezentMe.com database offers video profiles from job seekers (Should be Career Seekers) in the United States, France, Belgium, Morocco, Greece, Japan, Germany, and Israel. It currently has thousands of followers on Twitter and Facebook, and is expanding rapidly.
